The RoutBot® CNC Controller Software is an advanced, high performance and low cost, PC based motion controller for
CNC machine that can precisely control up to 4 linear or rotational axis simultaneously. The RoutBot® Controller Software is professionally made, easy to utilize and versatile.
In addition to linear and rotational motion control, it can also be utilized to control : variable speed spindle, relays, on/off motors, etc.
The RoutBot® Controller Software utilizes the "Standard IBM compatible PC Parallel Port" for communication.
The RoutBot® Controller Software can be utilized with almost any stepper motors. The RoutBot® Controller Software can be
easily configured using a friendly user interface. The RoutBot® Controller Software is flexible and can be utilized with almost any motor driver box or
with a break out board.

RoutBot® CNC comes with 2 CD’s; an installation CD and a boot CD.
The first CD is the installation CD which is used to install RoutBot® CNC friendly graphical user interface on a Win10, 8, 7, XP, or 2K desktop or laptop computer.
The computer that you install the graphical user interface on, can be a computer that you commonly used to perform other tasks.
This is possible since RoutBot® CNC graphical user interface requires very little CPU resources and do not slow down your computer.
The second CD is the boot CD which is used to boot the CNC Controller PC. Any desktop or laptop PC computer in good working condition can be used as CNC Controller once it is booted with the boot CD.
The Graphical User Interaface computer and the CNC Controller computer are connected via a RS232 to RS232 (Null Modem) cable. When the Graphical User Interface cable has a RS232 port (usually called COM1 or COM2),
it can be connected directly to the CNC Controller Computer with the RS232 (Null Modem) cable. For modern computer which do not have a RS232 port, a USB to RS232 (Converted) cable is used to connect the Graphical User Interface Computer to the RS232 to RS232 (Null Modem) cable.
Note : a 3 1/2” boot disk is also available to boot the CNC Controller PC.
