2.1) Select the shape that match the hole that you want to cover.

2.2) Select the units of measurement you prefer :

2.3) Select the dimension of the hole (round to the closest 1/2") :

2.5) Select the direction of the retaining bracket :

Retaining bracket along width
Retaining bracket along height
Retaining bracket offset
"note : Placing the holding bracket
along the longer length (i.e. along
width if it is the longest or along
height if it is the longest) is
generally prefered for impoved
holding force. It is recommended
to Offset the bracket only when
there is something inside the hole
located right behind the cover
plate which might cause an
interferance with the bracket."

2.4) Select Drywall(Sheetrock) / Plywood thickness,
wall could also be made of other materials :
"note : Please remove the imperfections from
the surrounding of the hole so that you can
Accurately Measure the thickness of the wall."

2.6) [Optional] Add a feature to your Cover Plate. You can choose up to 4 features per cover plate.
