Using RoutCad® with your CNC is Easy!
1. Configure your CNC Controller for your CNC Machine
Each CNC machine is different, so you much configure your CNC Controller for the CNC Machine you are using. This is usually a fairly simple, since most CNC machine and motor drivers comes with specifications. You'll use these specifications to configure you're CNC controller for your CNC machine and motor driver.

Configuring your CNC machine with Mach 3 Example :
Configuring your cnc machine with Mach3, practical example. If you have an existing CNC machine already properly configure, there is nothing to do. Go to Step 2.
To get Mach 3 going you just need to configure the "ports and pins" and the "motor tuning" as seen in the following figures:

To get EMC2 going you basically need to configure the "base information", "parallel port pins", and the "stepper configuration" as seen in the following figures:
2. Configure RoutCad® for your CNC Controller
Once your CNC Controller has been properly configured, you go back to RoutCad® to select the CNC Controller you wish to use.
In RoutCad® just click on configuration and select your CNC Controller, as in the figure bellow :
